Terms & Safety Guidelines

1. Scope of Services

City Heros currently offers the following verified service categories on our platform:

• Electronic Device Services (mobiles, laptops, AC, appliances)
• Mechanical Services (bike/car service, breakdown assistance)
• Electrical Services (wiring, fan/light installation, inverter setup)
• Daily Labour (construction support, loading/unloading, gardening support)
• Pet Care (walking, grooming, sitting, feeding)
• Elderly Care (companions, hospital escorts, walking support)
• Child Care (school pickup/drop, babysitting, homework help)
• Home Cleaning Services (deep cleaning, kitchen, bathroom, sofa)
• Salon & Beauty Services (haircut, facial, waxing, pedicure)
• Food Delivery Partners (bulk orders, event runners, doorstep meals)
• Building & Wall Painting (interior, exterior, waterproofing, texture)
• Education & Tutoring (home tutors, college guidance, crash courses)
• Healthcare at Home (nurse/patient care, blood collection, physiotherapy)
• Grocery & Essentials Delivery (vegetables, ration, dairy, LPG booking)
• Car Rentals (hatchback, sedan, SUV, luxury)
• Towing Services (flatbed, hook & chain, two-wheeler, outstation)
• Packers & Movers (1/2/3 BHK shifting, office relocation, inter-city)

City Heros reserves the right to add, modify, or discontinue any service category without prior notice.

2. User Verification & Safety

• Partner Verification: All service partners must submit a valid government-issued ID (Aadhaar / PAN) before their profile is activated. Unverified profiles cannot accept bookings.
• OTP-Based Login: All users are authenticated via a one-time password (OTP) sent to their registered mobile number. No password storage is required.
• Live Tracking: For your safety, the provider's location is tracked via GPS from the moment they accept a job until they arrive at your location.
• Zero Tolerance Policy: Any form of harassment, discrimination, intoxication, or unprofessional conduct by users or partners will result in an immediate and permanent ban from the platform.
• Emergency Support: Users can report safety concerns at any time via our WhatsApp widget or by calling 8431073378.

3. Booking & Payments

• Transparent Pricing: All service prices are listed upfront on the platform. Any additional material or travel costs must be discussed and agreed upon with the service partner before work begins.
• Cancellations: Free cancellations are allowed up to 2 hours before the scheduled service time. Cancellations within 2 hours may incur a ₹100 convenience fee.
• Platform Commission: City Heros deducts a commission of 10%–18% (depending on the service category) from the partner's earnings for platform maintenance, marketing, and verification services.
• Payment: Payments are currently collected directly between users and service partners. City Heros does not process or hold payments on behalf of either party.

4. Healthcare & Sensitive Services

For Healthcare at Home services (nurse visits, physiotherapy, blood collection, doctor escorts):

• All healthcare partners must hold valid certifications or diplomas relevant to their role.
• City Heros partners perform supportive care only and do not replace licensed medical treatment or emergency services.
• In case of a medical emergency, always contact emergency services (108) first.

5. Liability

City Heros acts as an aggregator connecting independent verified professionals with customers. While we enforce strict background checks and partner standards, City Heros is not directly liable for damages, losses, or disputes arising during or after service execution. Our support team will actively assist in resolving any conflicts fairly and promptly.

6. Prohibited Conduct

• Using the platform for illegal activities or services not listed in our catalogue.
• Providing false information during registration or booking.
• Attempting to contact or transact with service partners outside the platform to avoid commission.
• Posting fake reviews or manipulating the rating system.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Koppal, Karnataka.
