1. Information We Collect

• Personal Details: Your full name and 10-digit mobile number collected at login via OTP authentication. Your physical address is collected only when you place a booking.
• Location Data: Live GPS location is collected from Service Partners during active bookings to provide accurate ETAs and ensure safety for both parties. Customers are not continuously tracked.
• Verification Documents: Service Partners must upload a government-issued ID (Aadhaar / PAN card) strictly for background verification. These documents are stored in an encrypted cloud vault.
• Booking Records:Details of services booked, their status, timestamps, and associated service categories (e.g., Electronics, Healthcare, Grocery Delivery, Car Rental, Packers & Movers) are stored to manage your booking history and resolve disputes.
• Device & Usage Data: Basic browser/device information (such as browser type and city preference) may be collected to improve platform performance. No advertising trackers are used.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to operate and improve the City Heros platform:

• To match customers with the nearest available verified service professionals.
• To send OTPs, booking confirmations, and service notifications via SMS or WhatsApp.
• To verify and onboard service partners safely and responsibly.
• To enforce safety protocols, investigate disputes, and prevent fraud.
• To improve our platform, service quality, and partner performance ratings.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We never sell your personal data to advertisers or third-party marketers. Data is shared only in the following limited scenarios:

• Service Partners: Your name and booking address are shared with the assigned service partner only after a booking is confirmed.
• Infrastructure Providers: We use trusted services — Supabase (database), Firebase (authentication & storage), and Vercel (hosting) — to run the platform. These providers have their own privacy policies.
• Legal Requirements: Data may be disclosed if required by law or to protect the safety of users and partners.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, encrypted storage for verification documents, and OTP-based authentication (no passwords stored). Access to sensitive partner documents is restricted to authorised platform administrators only.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and booking history for as long as your account is active. Verification documents for service partners are retained for a minimum of 12 months after their last active booking for legal compliance. Inactive accounts with no bookings may be deleted after 24 months of inactivity.

6. Your Rights

• Access: You may request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: You may update your name or contact details by reaching out to our support team.
• Deletion: You may request complete deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Requests are processed within 7 business days.
• Opt-Out: You may opt out of non-essential notifications at any time by contacting our support via WhatsApp.

7. Children's Privacy

City Heros is not intended for use by persons under the age of 18 without parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. Child Care booking services are initiated by adult guardians on behalf of minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Any significant changes will be communicated via a notification in the platform or via SMS/WhatsApp. Continued use of City Heros after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
